Avocado carries the fat curcumin needs to ride into the bloodstream. The base is intentionally light — pick one of the three add-ons below depending on what you want it to do that day.

Method

  1. Add almond milk and Greek yogurt to the blender first — the liquid base helps everything else move.
  2. Add frozen mango, frozen banana, avocado, ginger, turmeric, and a generous pinch of black pepper.
  3. Add one scoop of your add-on — whey isolate, Nourish, or collagen peptides — depending on the goal of the day.
  4. Blend on high for about 45 seconds until smooth.
  5. Pour into a tall glass. Add a few extra cracks of black pepper on top if you want it bolder. Drink immediately.

The Math On Each Add-On

Base recipe lands at ~335 cal · 8g protein · 50g carbs · 14g fat. Pick your goal:

  • Whey Isolate Unflavored (1 scoop): +25g protein · +110 cal — fast-digesting, disappears into the smoothie. Best for clean post-workout protein.
  • Vanilla Nourish (1 scoop): +12g protein · +85 cal — 7-protein blend (whey, whey isolate, milk protein isolate, egg whites, micellar casein, calcium caseinate, hydrolyzed whey) with 2.5g fiber and MCT oil per scoop for the satiety waterfall. Best when breakfast has to last.
  • Collagen Peptides (2 scoops): +10g protein · +40 cal — joints, hair, skin, nails. The mango’s vitamin C is already in the glass to help your body actually use it.
Why this pairs with

Turmeric with Bioperine

Here’s the honest version: the way you actually get the benefits of turmeric is consistency. Eating it in your food, regularly, over months and years. That’s how the research subjects who saw real results did it.

The problem is most people can’t pull that off in real life. That’s where supplements earn their place — not as a magic bullet, but as a backup. Turmeric with Bioperine guarantees you get a clinically-relevant dose every day, even on the days you don’t make this smoothie. And the Bioperine — black pepper extract — handles the absorption problem we just talked about.

Food first. Supplement as backup. That’s the whole MaxWell approach.
