Whey protein isolate is the cleanest, fastest-digesting protein you can put in a shaker — filtered to remove most of the fat and lactose, leaving a lean 110 calories and 25g of protein per scoop. We added a digestive enzyme blend (Protease and Papain) and a BCAA blend (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) to support normal digestion and amino acid delivery. Third-party tested, five flavors, two sizes — built for people who are serious about hitting their protein target every day.
- ✓25g pure whey protein isolate per scoop — 110 calories, 1g fat, 1g carbs — supports normal muscle protein synthesis and recovery
- ✓Digestive Enzyme Blend (Protease + Papain) included — supports normal protein digestion and absorption
- ✓Built-in BCAA Blend (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) — supports normal muscle recovery and anabolic signaling after training
- ✓5 Flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla, Berry, Cappuccino, & unflavored

Why protein quality and dose matter
Protein is the one macronutrient where the research is unambiguous: if you're not eating enough of it, you're leaving muscle, recovery, and body composition results on the table. The general guideline for active adults is 0.7 to 1 gram per pound of lean body mass per day. Most people aren't close.
Whey protein isolate is the gold standard for post-workout use for two reasons. First, it's fast-digesting — it raises blood amino acids quickly, which is what you want when muscle protein breakdown is elevated after training. Second, isolate is filtered beyond concentrate, stripping out most of the fat and lactose so you get a cleaner macro profile with fewer calories around the protein itself.
The digestive enzyme blend in this formula — Protease and Papain — supports normal protein digestion. Protease breaks down peptide bonds in protein chains; Papain is a plant-derived enzyme with similar activity. For people who experience bloating or discomfort with high-protein intake, this can make a meaningful difference in daily comfort and consistency.
The BCAA blend (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) adds to the naturally occurring BCAAs already present in whey. Leucine is the key trigger for muscle protein synthesis — it activates the mTOR pathway that signals the body to build and repair. Whey is already leucine-rich; the additional blend reinforces that signal, especially useful in a caloric deficit when muscle preservation is the priority.
How to use
Mix: 1 scoop (29g) with 6–8 oz cold water or milk in a shaker bottle. Shake 20–30 seconds.
Post-workout: Best window is within 30–60 minutes of finishing training — fast-digesting isolate is ideal here.
Any time of day: Can be used throughout the day to hit your daily protein target.
For contact and collision athletes: Athletes in intense training blocks may benefit from 1.0–1.2g protein per lb of bodyweight daily — a second scoop or additional whole-food protein sources are appropriate.
Container sizes: 1lb = 16 servings · 2lb = 31 servings

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between whey isolate and whey concentrate?
Both come from milk, but isolate goes through an additional filtration step that removes most of the fat and lactose. The result is a higher protein percentage per gram, fewer calories, and better tolerance for people with lactose sensitivity. Concentrate is still a quality protein source — isolate is just cleaner per calorie. If your goal is a lean macro profile, isolate is the better choice.
Why does this have a BCAA blend if whey already has BCAAs?
Whey protein naturally contains all three BCAAs as part of its amino acid profile. The added BCAA blend reinforces the Leucine content specifically. Leucine is the primary trigger for muscle protein synthesis via the mTOR pathway. More Leucine, delivered quickly, strengthens the anabolic signal post-workout.
What does the digestive enzyme blend do?
Protease and Papain are both protein-digesting enzymes. They help break down protein chains into smaller peptides and amino acids your body can absorb more efficiently. Practically speaking, they can reduce bloating and discomfort some people experience with high-protein shakes.
Is this a good protein for weight loss?
Yes. At 110 calories and 25g of protein per scoop with 1g fat and 1g carbs, it's one of the leanest protein sources available. High protein intake supports normal satiety and helps preserve lean muscle mass during a caloric deficit. It makes hitting your daily protein target much easier without blowing your calorie budget.
How long until I notice results?
Protein supplements support what's already happening in your training and diet. If you're consistently hitting your daily protein target and training hard, most people notice improved recovery within 2–4 weeks. Body composition changes take longer and depend on your overall diet and training program.
Can I mix this with milk instead of water?
Yes. Using milk adds calories, fat, and carbohydrates on top of the scoop. With whole milk, expect roughly 200–220 calories total. Water is the cleanest option if you're watching caloric intake. Both work fine from a digestion standpoint.
Can I take this with my other MaxWell supplements?
Yes. Common stacks: Whey Isolate + Creatine Monohydrate (mix together post-workout), Whey Isolate + L-Glutamine (add a scoop to the same shake), Whey Isolate + Omega-3 Complex (both with meals). No known interactions with other MaxWell supplements.
Is this safe long-term?
Whey protein isolate is a food-derived protein source with an extensive safety record. There is no evidence of harm from daily use in healthy adults at normal intake levels. If you have a pre-existing kidney condition, consult your physician before significantly increasing protein intake.
